The Brazilian Media has influenced the general opinion in such nefast ways that now some women decided they have the 'mission' to carry a crusade against Jair Bolsonaro's run for the presidency as if we had a better choice. Have they forgotten that we are doomed to be flirting with communism and going back 2 steps towards our ever pósition occupying the lower ranks of a third world nation? They accuse him of being naive about the economy, as if Lula or Dilma knew better, a pair of idiots unable to speak their native language and who insisted on embarrassing us in public. Heil to Jair, our myth', the only one so far to give me hopes of expurgating forever the seeds of poverty and the mentality of 'poor kid on the block', that permeates Brazilian society.

Think I've seen this 'film' before... Fernando Haddad's horse is coming fast, all the way from the back of the line, just like it happened in the elections for mayor in São Paulo a few years back, with the help of the 'saint', 'fathers of all people', Lula himself. Are we ready for another election heist, another 'Brazilian Miracle', brought to you by 'the amazing electronic voting machine', not accepted anywhere else in the civilized world, but 'incapable of errors', as the usual authority du jour, tells us?

Lula's Workers Party king of all 'fake news'? They posted a video of themselves naked on Times Square, amongst other unsuspected civilians, protesting against the arrest of their 'saint',Lula, who can do no wrong, but I couldn't find this video anywhere else, and spent some time watching the main media outlets here in Brazil, trying to see if the video was real, with no luck. So, I had to come to the conclusion that the cited news are indeed fake, and was delivered to us via Whatsup with the intention of provoking some sort of a positive reaction since few intelligent people care for Lula or his communist political leftist party anymore. Personally, I hope his name is going to disappear from the news soon enough because this man betrayed the Brazillian people and gets way too much attention.

Word on the street has it that the fire at the National Museum in Rio started because of an illegal oversize ballon falling on its roof, and I can testify to the dangers of such activity, after all, in my wild days as a teenager spending vacation in my grandma's house in the suburbs, that was our fav. weekend fun...setting up giant balloons in a soccer field just to race after them in our cars, sometimes watching them falling on people's home, to their dismay. I hope the gossip is ill-founded; such a shame to lose such an immense and important archive of art.

Burning of a great museum in Rio

Yesterday the Nacional Museum in Rio burned to the ground, and Im not going to be surprised if it was because of a faulty maintenance, due to lack of funding. But wait a minute...didn't we just host the 2016 Olympics and the 2014 World Soccer Cup? There was enough money to be spent on those events but not to properly maintain the oldest museum in Brazil, founded by the emperor Dom Pedro II himself? What does that say about us, Brazilians? Im deeply embarrassed, to say the least.
